My Driving Journey
I learned to drive in 2017 aged 40. Trust me there is no right or wrong time to learn to drive. This was me in my first car going for a day out to the coast not long after I first passed.
Starting as an instructor
In 2023 I started training as a driving instructor and worked with Bill Plant initially.
Prior to this I spent 21 years working on the railway with Virgin Trains and then Avanti West Coast.
After having our child in 2022 this led me to a change of career.
Working as an instructor
I am now fully qualified as an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and I now work independently teaching automatic and in 2025 I started teaching in an electric car which my learners love to drive.
